Greetings!


Hi Everyone!

Our 2019 GAPCA conference is creeping ever closer. I wanted to share some information regarding the location of the conference and the Thursday night dinner.

  • The Embassy Suites in downtown Des Moines is located in the Historic East Village along the Des Moines River and near the Court Avenue Entertainment District and the Iowa Capitol. Following is some information on the East Village and Court Avenue.

  • Thursday night we will have a dinner at the Iowa Taproom. The Taproom is just a couple blocks from the Embassy Suites. The Taproom building dates back to 1882 and offers a unique experience with its Iowa décor, and its many Iowa beers. (The food is good, too!) Following is information on the Iowa Taproom.
